Project Lolo Appoints Linda Williams, Brand Counselor, to Board of Directors
Non-Profit Organization Taps Marketing and Branding Expert as a Director and Treasurer
Minneapolis, Minn. – May 8, 2018 – Linda C. Williams, MBA, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer of Forever Fierce Media and Partner of The Brand Counselors was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Project Lolo, to serve through 2018.
Leslie Pitt Schneider, Founder and President of Project Lolo, said, “With her innovative and entrepreneurial expertise, Linda’s appointment on the Board of Directors is pivotal in propelling Project Lolo into the organization we will become. Her ability to strategize on short-term and long-term growth, allows us to execute on Project Lolo’s soon-to-be-unique-position in the non-profit space.”
Project Lolo is a global, non-profit organization headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, dedicated to helping provide access to orthopedic medical care and orthopedic devices, such as prosthetic limbs or wheelchairs to children. Project Lolo was founded in 2017 under the assertion that no child should ever be denied their right to life, healthcare, education or dignity because of their differing orthopedic abilities.
“I have had a front row seat watching Leslie take Project Lolo from an idea several years ago to a reality. Leslie is one of the most dedicated and focused non-profit leaders I have ever met,” said Mrs. Williams. “It’s an honor to serve Project Lolo alongside my fellow Board Members.”
Linda C. Williams is also a Co-Founding Partner of The Brand Counselors and has over twenty years of professional experience as a corporate executive, consultant and entrepreneur. She found her niche as a change agent building and growing businesses in the healthcare, consumer goods and retail industries. Throughout much of her career, she has worked in the healthcare arena, including a global medical device company. Mrs. Williams supports Project Lolo’s mission to bring prosthetic care to children in underserved countries and considers it an honor to be on the Board of Project Lolo. Linda C. Williams resides in Babylon, NY with her husband.
